Roianne Houlton Conner
Roianne Houlton Conner is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Alabama, with deep family ties to the law enforcement, farming and cattle raising community. Mrs. Conner has reared her four children in Montgomery County, Alabama and is now a grandmother of four grandchildren. Mrs. Conner is involved in the Montgomery Community serving on various community and civic boards.
Mrs. Conner has been trained and mentored by some of the most prestigious trial attorneys and Judges in the State of Alabama and is currently mentoring a new generation of local attorneys.
Mrs. Conner has practiced in the areas of family law which includes, divorce, child custody, child support, modifications, as well as dependency actions in child support and juvenile court for over twenty years. In representing thousands of clients and their families, Mrs. Conner in partnership with her clients has insured that the families can move onward from the emotional experience.
As a former law enforcement officer as well as a former prosecutor, Mrs. Conner brings a unique perspective to the practice of criminal law. Mrs. Conner has worked in the criminal justice system in various positions for more than thirty years and knows the criminal justice system intimately. Mrs. Conner has participated in numerous Federal District Court, State Circuit Court, as well as Juvenile, and Municipal criminal trials representing thousands of criminal defendants.
Mrs. Conner also practices in the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals, the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, the Alabama Supreme Court as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. She has represented clients, written briefs and delivered oral arguments in all of the appellate courts. Mrs. Conner has had judicial determinations overturned in all the areas of law in which she practices.
Preston L. Presley
Attorney Preston L. Presley was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama and received a B.A. in Political Science from the College of Arts and Sciences. Prior to attending law school at Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, Attorney Presley was fortunate to clerk for the honorable Chief Justice Sue Bell Cobb in her legislative office. Attorney Presley worked closely with Chief Justice Cobb’s Legislative Liaison, Tom Whatley who is currently serving as a member of the State Senate of Alabama. During law school, Attorney Presley received a clerkship with the Law Offices of Roianne Houlton Conner in November of 2011. Attorney Presley was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September of 2012. He has been an Associate Attorney with the Law Offices of Roianne Houlton Conner since that time.
